Product Description

"Stars - Myriads with beating hearts of Fire."
A Supernova is an exploding star that creates a very bright, luminous object in space. Many scientists believe that the Star of Bethlehem was actually a Supernova.

Our Supernova Amulet is created from Black-ringed Fossil Walrus ivory surrounding a varigated tan center. The Ivory is about 3000 years old and was found on the shore of the Magadan Region, which is the most southern extent of the Even Peoples, who live to the west of the Kamchatka Peninsula.

You cannot look at this piece of Fossil Ivory without believing that you are looking deep into outer space! We added one of our bright blue opals to simulate the luminosity of the supernova. 1 1/2 inch high, 5/8 inch wide.

Our Supernova Amulet is hung from a tan leather neck thong.

Wear it and you will be answering questions about it constantly! Of course, a one-of-a-kind piece!

Fossil Ivory Color Charts

Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
