We designed our Simple Aleutian Islands Talisman II after one of a number of pieces of jewelry found in a Shaman woman's grave in the Aleutian Islands. It dates from about 1700 years ago. It was probably a found piece whose natural colors were thought to be connected to the powerful spirits of the forces of earth. The Fossil Walrus Ivory we used for the piece shown is close in color to the original and is a very rare natural color. Like the volcanoes of the Aleutian Islands, this rust color seems to reflect the earth around the volcanoes. To it we add a beautiful blue/green opal. Choose your fossil ivory type and color and we will make one especially for you! You will look forward to wearing this strong Talisman every chance you get! It is enhanced by a strip of leather as a neckpiece. This powerful pendant is 1 1/2 inches high, 1/2 inch wide.
