Reversible Arctic Amber and Fossil Ivory Teardrop Talisman SALE! 20% OFF!
Product Description
"Choice is the essence of what I believe to be human."Most of us think that Amber comes only from the Baltic region, or from the Dominican republic, but deposits of amber have been found well north of the Arctic circle - on the island of Spitsbergen, just east of Greenland, and on the Alaskan Arctic Coastal Plain.
Early native Americans made use of amber for Amulets and Talismans. In particular, they used found amber to represent the eyes of doll spirits.
We have put together two materials used by Native American Arctic Shamans to call forth helpful spirits - Fossil Walrus Ivory and Arctic Amber into a simple, but eloquent Reversible Teardrop Talisman. One side shows only a 4000 year old piece of mocha-colored fossil walrus ivory, and the other side as Arctic Amber. 1 1/4 inch high, 1/2 inch wide. A very spiritual and interesting Talisman.
Comes complete with a Sterling Silver chain.
Fossil Ivory Color Charts
Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
