Comes mounted on a highly polished, hand-turned wooden plaque approximately 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 5/8 inch thick. Pick your own choice of wood from our options. (An excellent little piece of brightwork!)
We will even etch a picture of your boat on the plaque as an additional option. Shown with Fossil Walrus Ivory - Light, all mounted on Cherry wood.

Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
