"One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar."This Talisman was inspired by an artifact found on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Northeastern Siberia, between the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea. This beautiful and awe inspiring peninsula has been the home of hardy nomadic peoples for tens of thousands of years. The Talisman is thought to represent man as the the bridge between earth and heaven, and keep him safe. The striking orange and tan tones of the Fossil Walrus Ivory result from iron ore found in the soil. This full-bezeled Talisman features seven Sterling Silver spheres set atop a horizontal cross piece. 1 1/8 inch high, 1 1/16 inch wide.
Imagine yourself wearing this Talisman, and the interest it will inspire.

Fossil Ivory Color Charts
Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
