Our customers have repeatedly asked us to make a small fossil ivory or scrimshaw ring that is both elegant and petite. Where else can you find simplicity, strength and elegance, but in old Celtic designs? We searched the Celtic archeological sites and their treasures until we felt that we knew how to design a truly elegant Celtic ring. Our Celtic Princess Ring is designed with a simple twisted rope Celtic band, which adds just the right touch of elegance to the simple bezel.
We make it available in Sterling Silver (see below). Choose your own shape, size and type of Ivory - with or without scrimshaw. As an added option have us hand etch your own boat, power or sail, for a perfect nautical gift! And, believe it or not, this ring comes with its own chain, so you can wear it dangling around your neck - as well as on your finger - in the same manner as similar rings were worn by Celtic women! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
