Product Description
Collectors! Case no longer makes this classic knife! This is an instant collector's item! We have only a few.
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold."Much of the time a sailor's knife stays in its sheath - But when a sailor needs his knife, he really needs a tool he can absolutely rely on.
Our Case X X Sailors Rigging Knife is made by the W. R. Case Co., who has been making knives since 1889. These very collectible knives are known the world over for their toughness and edge-holding ability. We chose to carry the Case X X Sailors Rigging Knife because it is a solidly built knife, made for decades of service. It has a locking 3 1/4 inch marlinspike, and a 3 inch surgical steel sheepsfoot blade. Nickel silver bolsters, and tether ring, stainless pins, and brass liner make this knife very easy to care for - even around salt water. This folder is 4 1/2 inches long when closed.
Our adhesive is guaranteed for life, but, for those who want extra protection, or like the look of stainless pins on each side, you can choose to have either no stainless pins or two pins on each side! (Shown with no pins.) It comes with its own genuine leather belt sheath (see photo)!
Anyone with a boat will love this knife! Shown with Fossil Walrus Ivory - Ethereal scales hand etched with a full-rigged ship.
We will hand etch 1) a ship, and 2) your name, initials, or the date on the Fossil Ivory scales at no charge.
Or let us hand etch your own boat (sail or power)on one side of this beautiful knife, along with the boat's name - Just email or snailmail us a picture.

Fossil Ivory Color Charts
Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
