Product Description

Collectors! In February 2007, Camillus Knives, in business in New York since 1876, went out of business. This knife is from one of their final production runs in America and is an instant collector's item! We have only a few.

"Listening is a magnetic and strange thing, a creative force...the friends that really listen to us are the ones we move toward, and we want to sit in their radius as though it did us good.."
As my Grandfather used to say, "A fine pocketknife is as handy as a pocket."

Our Camillus Single Blade Linerlock Folder is just such a knife! It measures 2 3/4 inches closed. Its 2 1/8 inch stainless steel clip blade is not only superbly useful, but its size allows you to keep it unobtrusively in your pocket or purse. Its Nickel Silver bolsters and brass liner combine to make it maintenance-free.

This is an heirloom knife that you will will be proud to pass down through the generations: Imagine a youngster proudly saying "This was my Grandfather's (or Grandmother's) knife!" (I still occasionally proudly carry my own Grandfather's Ivoryhandled pocketknife!) Comes with a felt storage pouch.

Included is a hand etched scrimshaw design (See below) and initials, name or date. The perfect personalized heirloom gift!

As an option, we will scrimshaw an etching of a ship of your choice, or your own boat (sail or power)on one side - Just email or snailmail us a picture.

Fossil Ivory Color Charts

Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
