Product Description

With Leather Belt Sheath

"Tools have their own integrity."
A true heirloom collectible. Forged and layered Damascus Steel is known the world over as the best steel for knife and sword blades. Layers of hard and softer high carbon steel are forged together by Remington, one of America's most respected knife makers, to produce the steel for this 2-bladed folder. The forged layers are then acid-etched to bring out the beautiful striated patterns of light and dark steel on the blades.

The overall length of the folder is 4 1/4 inches(closed). Each blade is 3 5/8 inches long. Nickel silver bolsters, brass liner and stainless steel pins make this knife a stout companion. Shown with Medium Light Fossil Walrus Ivory, with some Crystalline.

Choose a scrimshaw etching as shown below, or add a hand scrimshawed picture of your own (boat, pet, house) for a small extra charge. Of course, it comes with free scrimshaw personalisation - up to 10 letters. Included also is a genuine leather vertical belt sheath. (See insert) This is a treasured collectible that will be proudly handed down through coming generations.

Note: These Remington Damascus folders are rare. We have only a few.

Don't be disappointed - please order early.

Fossil Ivory Color Charts

Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
