Product Description

"Those who have been forced to memorize the world as it is will never create the world as it might be."
Looking for a really striking addition to your collection, or for the finest gift? We present here our custom Victorian lockback. A hand crafted exquisitely designed custom folder! The bolsters are completely handcrafted from Sterling Silver (just look at the gingerbread work!). Please note: each knife will have a slightly different Victorian bolster. Only the blade, spring and liner are not Sterling! Speaking of the blade, it is made from A6 Stainless with the addition of vanadium - cryogenically hardened! Comes in two lengths: 3 inches closed with 2 1/2 inch blade, and 4 Inch closed with 3 inch blade. Smooth opening! Shown above with Dark Crystalline Fossil Walrus Ivory scales.

The finishing touch for your knife is the hand-filed pattern on the back of the spring (See inset). To further enhance this collector's dream, we will add your choice of type and color of Fossil Ivory scales. As an added attraction, we will etch your name on the scales and your choice of our designs. We will even etch a portrait of your boat, pet, or your favorite scene as an additional option!

A must have for any serious collector - A great gift for anyone! Completely designed and handcrafted in our studio.

Fossil Ivory Color Charts

Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
