Product Description

"The earth spins softly, Not to spill its lakes and rivers."
Hilda Conkling

Knife collectors the world over know that the name W. R. Case and Sons means the finest in American craftsmanship - And the Slimlock is one of the most beautiful knives ever crafted by W. R. Case and Sons.

This collectors folder is a linerlock with nickel silver bolsters and stainless steel liner. The highly polished drop point blade is made from BG-42, a high performance American-made stainless steel. Taper ground, hardened, cryogenically treated and tempered to 60 on the Rockwell "C" scale, this blade is a cutting instrument second to none, and will hold its edge as long as you need it! The opening and closing action has been adjusted with the case pivot screw, so this slim gentleman's knife can be opened smoothly with one hand. 6 1/8 inches open.

Comes with felt Pocket Pouch.

Included is Free Scrimshaw Personalization - up to 10 letters. A most discriminating addition to any collection, and a perfect heirloom piece. Shown with Fossil Walrus Ivory - Ethereal with no scrimshaw. Very few small production runs make only a few of these knives available - a collector's special!

Choose from any of our Fossil Ivory colors shown below. We will personalize this beauty with your name or initials, as well as etch one of our pictures - at no extra charge.

As an additional option, we will scrimshaw an etching of a ship of your choice, or your own boat (sail or power) on one side - Just email or snailmail us a picture.

Please note: The W. R. Case and Sons Slimline Linerlock is also available with a Ladder pattern Damascus steel blade. (Please see Knife Gallery.)

Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
