Product Description

"It's like magic. When you live by yourself, all your annoying habits are gone!."
This Talisman is inspired by the awesome bright stars seen at night on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Northeastern Siberia, between the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea.

This beautiful and awe inspiring peninsula has been the home of hardy nomadic peoples for tens of thousands of years, and the nomadic people we met there told us a wonderful myth about the why the stars are so bright...They reflect the fires from the ten thousand volcanoes in this land.

We waited years before we finally found just the right materials for our Kamchatka Blue Star Talisman, and felt comfortable designing this beauty!A striking piece of blue Fossil Walrus Ivory, cut in cathedral shape, is enhanced by a round Linde Blue Star Sapphire whose star is bright in any light! Twist it and turn it and the star moves in the sapphire like the twinkling stars in the night sky in Kamchatka!

This Talisman comes in two sizes: 1 1/8 inch high, 7/16 inch wide, and 1 1/2 inch high, 9/16 inch wide. Whichever you choose, you'll look forward to wearing one of the very limited number of these Talismans, even for very formal occasions! Comes with sterling silver neck chain.

Fossil Ivory Color Charts

Below are the available colors of our fossil ivories. Our high quality fossilized ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
