The solid and sturdy knife hardware is made in America by one of America's finest knifemaking firms - Camillus of Camillus, N.Y. Made to U.S. Navy specifications - stainless steel sheepsfoot blade and marlinspike, complete brass liner, nickel silver bolsters, and stainless steel pins. No more worry about rust! Has a substantial loop for a tether, so that it won't fall into the water, and a locking marlinspike - no more hurt fingers! It has a 3 inch long blade and 3 1/2 inch marlinspike. The knife is 4 1/2 inches long when closed. This superb knife even comes with its own genuine leather belt sheath (see photo)! Makes a most appreciated gift for anyone who sails! The available colors of our high quality Fossilized Ivories are shown below. (Please allow for some color variation in these natural materials.) Our wonderful Ivories have been reclaimed from the ground after sharing the earth for up to 30 millennia! Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
