Our longhandled Sterling Silver and Fossil Ivory Serving Spoon is both lovely to look at, as well as a joy to have at table. Designed, handcrafted and handhammered right here in our studio, it is perfect for vegetables or jams. You'll love the air of handcrafted good taste it brings to your table. Three cylindrical stem pieces gracefully curve upwards from the 2 inch long bowl and rest against a rectangular stem piece. All join at the elongated full bezel that encloses a carved piece of Fossil Ivory. Shown with Medium light Fossil Walrus Ivory. Overall length 8 3/4 inches. Personalize our graceful Serving Spoon with three initials on the silver bezel to make this a family heirloom piece that will be treasured forever! (up to 3 letters)

Even after all this time, Fossil Ivory remains warm and sensuous organic ivory; it is not petrified. It has developed its beautiful colors by taking up minerals from the earth and these colors are impossible to match in any contemporary ivories by modern processes.
